Tier 3
Probably the best shooter in the class when it comes to primary usage, shooting off the dribble, while also being scalable in many facets of the game. Bennett Stirtz is a pure engine who drives team success at every level.
Probably a bit more there athletically than what I initially saw. Great pnr reads. Shooting has really taken center stage

Stirtz is an odd athlete. He has elite, high level quickness in a straight line driving downhill. He was very effective getting to the rim if he got an advantage out of the pick and roll, and shot over 70 percent at the rim (truly elite). Once he's going downhill in a straight line, he's gone, and you aren't catching up. However, in pretty much every other scenario, he's a subpar athlete. Very little wiggle/lateral burst. Very little vertical pop. Very narrow, slender frame. Not much strength. For those reasons, he struggles to create outside of the pick and roll. For the same reasons, he also struggles defensively. Don't think his frame will allow him to switch at all, and he'll likely struggle to stay in front of PGs too. Just don't see him as dynamic of an athlete to stick in the NBA, especially since he doesn't have a truly special skill to hang his hat on. Good, but not elite shooter, both on and off ball. Makes smart decisions passing, but isn't an elite passer (no flashy or special passes). Don't see why you'd want to put the ball in his hand over most other guys in the league.

PHYSICAL - Decently quick but doesn't beat people off the dribble - Not strong for a guard SKILLS - Can shot fake and pass fake to create looks - Slows down with ball in hands - Can cut off ball - Handle is decent to good - Fluid with the ball SHOOTING - Smooth jumper but not the highest release - Release is far in front of body - Can shoot off of dribble - Stepback is not great - Has off ball shooting: stationary and off movement - Has mid range shooting touch - Comfortable shooting everywhere on floor FINISHING - Has some above the rim athleticism - Drives decently but settles a decent bit - A lot of scoop lay ups and contorts in air to finish through contact PASSING - Passes high to low/dump off/pocket - Hits cutters and shooters on drives - Likes one hand passes - Has decent to good vision - Looks to pass early in transition - Has some no look and behind the back passes - Very good p&r handler/passer - Processes decently well - Is very fluid in the passing game - Great pocket passer and floor geometry solver with movement - Can pass with either hand - Prefers not to lob but is ok at lobs as well DEFENSE - He is active with feet and contests but not always technically sound - Jumps passing lanes when able - Plays poorly the closer his man is to the rim - Not able to shield drives

Ultra skilled point guard. Elite shooter. Good handle. Avoids turnovers. Doesn’t win a lot 1 on 1 needs screens. Struggles a lot to get downhill against a set defense. Slow feet on defense will be a target. Really good at reading the floor and making skip passes.
