Of all the players I've watched tape of so far, Bilodeau probably surprised me the most in a positive way. One of the most skilled offensive players I've watched. It's like the ball is a part of his body. He's in complete control at all times. Had an insane number of And 1 finishes, and most of them were drop step into a player's chest and finish a jumpshot through contact. Not easy shots. Has incredible touch around the hoop, and that extends out further. Made 50 percent of his midrange shots, and over 50 percent of his long mid range shots. 87 percent from the line, 47 percent from three. Elite touch as a shooter. Also a great finisher around the hoop. If he has space, he dunks everything. Isn't overly explosive, but can produce his max vert in zero steps and dunk if given space. That should translate to pick n' roll game in the NBA. Think he has all the tools to be a very high level offensive player in whatever role he's asked to player (screener/rim roller, or pick and pop). Major question is how will he perform defensively. I struggled to find tape of him defensively. The objective analytical stats don't look great, and he certainly won't be a rim protector. What he becomes in the NBA will hinge entirely on his defense. Have zero doubts about his offense.
