Big and lengthy perimeter defender. He's already showcased potential to be a plus NBA defender thanks to his physical traits and instinct. I was expecting a bit more on offense based on his preseason, but nonetheless I think he's showcased enough of a base to make me confident in eventual development in that phase. I imagine he'll be a late lottery player, though I wouldn't be floored if he made it into the 20s.
PHYSICAL - Good but not elite athlete - He doesn't jump as high as I thought - Has decent to good speed for a small wing - Has decent strength for a small wing SKILLS - He pushes the ball well in transition with good speed - Good motor overall - Doesn’t really look to drive that much - Handle is solid SHOOTING - Follow through messed up (doesn't hold) and jump shot release is off - Release point is high - Jumper speed is quick - Has midrange touch, but bad shot selection - Has inconsistent misses on threes, takes them from all over (with deep range) FINISHING - Finishes okay through contact - Doesn’t always have the best touch - Can get above the rim occasionally PASSING - Passing is rudimentary with some top of the key reads - Can occasionally find a good read when not on ball (connector) inside the arc - Has ok vision and solid processing DEFENSE - Has footwork like a bigger wing with the instincts of a smaller wing - Gambles for steals - Looks better off ball than on
