Where 89 boards rank this prospect
Tier 3
PHYSICAL - Very mobile for a big - Good vertical pop - Strong for a big wing, not strong for a big SKILLS - Can put the ball on the ground but not the best handle - Doesn't create for himself or others - Can disappear from offense - Good O board motor - Inconsistent transition player - Does not set strong screens but is smart with screen timing and positioning, can help out teammates find space - Not the best defensive rebounder SHOOTING - Non-shooter FINISHING - Plays above the rim - Non-dunk finishing is decent and not weak at least PASSING - Makes very basic reads and only really hits dump offs when obvious - Can be careless with the ball once picked up DEFENSE - Hips swivels with agility - Good space closer with leaping burst - Can play on the level - Has good hands - Instincts are very good at times (especially at the rim) but gets way too jumpy on the perimeter and sometimes inside - Tries to play off his man and has the ability to recover but is beat by this at times - Sometimes caught ball watching on strong side - Otherwise good at walling up and has good rim presence - Not the most functionally strong - Instincts and positioning were better last year
Elite defensive big man. Ridiculous rim protector who can also switch. Tremendous athlete with the tools to be a great rebounder. Great play finisher on offense. No real perimeter skills out side of the occasional jumper. Massive injury red flags might make him undraftable.
