Cameron Carr, hyperathletic, 6'5, Guard /wing. Perfect for the modern NBA. Once again I see a lot of noise about people saying too many of his shots are unassisted but I think that's beautiful. That's perfect, right, especially for this play type. He's a great cutter. He doesn't dwell on the ball much. Very much a plug-in play. 3-and-D hyperathletic guard build. There are some concerns about his size but he has the frame if you believe in shoulder science to put on weight. I think as a two or small-ball three he'll really excel. There might not be any superstar ceiling but once again with that athleticism you cannot teach that effortless bounce, which wouldn't completely rule it out. Adding some size, athleticism, and shot-making from the perimeter is valuable for any team. He is a future starter in this league, which is very good. It's very good at a top-ten position. Top ten, top fifteen, top twenty in this draft.
Hyper athletic off guard who can really shoot. High level off ball defender creates havoc on that end seems to be everywhere at once. Handle is nonexistent. Doesn’t get any rim pressure on the ball.
PHYSICAL - Really great explosive athlete - Is quick and can blow by wings - Has average strength for small wings SKILLS - Cuts well off ball - Some terrible possessions where he takes bad mid range or contested close shots due to some erratic drives on ball SHOOTING - Quick release on jumper - Solid release point - Jumper looks pure and repeatable - Shoots mostly off ball and stationary - Can shoot off dribble and from everywhere including deep FINISHING - Plays way above the rim - Attacks closeouts aggressively - Lob threat - Tries to finish everything above the rim - Has no issue with contact but doesn't necessarily go for it - Finishes non-dunks solidly well PASSING - Very basic passer but doesn't make too many mistakes - Some kick out passing, inconsistent with vision - Solid to decent vision and processing generally DEFENSE - Block hunts more than actually walling up - Is a better help defender than on ball - Has genuine secondary rim protection - Has good recovery speed
