Where 2 boards rank this prospect
Went from Division 3 to player of the year in a lower end D1 conference. What stick out with Nkrumah is his length and ability to move laterally. At the combine he won the shuttle run drill by almost 10 percent faster than the 2nd place finisher. An absolutely absurd amount to win a drill by. Shows his elite movement skills laterally. Absolute clamps defensively. Slides well, has elite length, and had one of the highest stl rates in D1 last year. Has size and movement ability to be a 3 and D player. Shot has shown improvement over time. Got to 35% from 3 and 79% from the line last year. Actually like his shot more than the percentages would suggest. An oddity with his shot is he sometimes flails his legs in the air. Has athletic ability to get to the rim, but only finished 48% of his layups, which suggests that he doesn't have great touch. If he can continue to improve his shooting and finishing at the rim, he would fit the 3 and D archetype nearly perfectly. His size, length and movement are exactly what you'd normally look for in this archetype.
