Draft 2027
“Normally I wouldn't want anything to do with a 5'10" PG, especially if they aren't an elite shooter...but Tyler Tanner is an anomaly. He's an absolute freak of nature athletically. Honestly can't remember seeing someone comparable in recent memory. Think he would be the quickest player in the NBA from day 1. An absolute blur. And he also has vertical pop. Can rise up and dunk over people in the half court, and also had some chase down blocks. Almost like Atlanta Hawks Dennis Schroder quickness, but with crazy bounce as well. Also great change of pace/lateral quickness, and elite stop/start ability. Almost impossible to stay in front of. Average to slightly below average shooter. Good passer. Absolute menace defensively. Think he will be a plus defender in the NBA, despite his size. Tons of steals. Despite the size and shooting limitations, I think he's a serviceable NBA starter, and will be incredibly fun to watch.”
