Draft 2026
“Quadir is the player from this class who is most likely to put a smile on your face when watching him play. He has a contagious energy and flair, and his mannerisms are kinda hilarious too. Think he brings good energy to a team, and most people would enjoy playing with him. Extremely unselfish player and very effective attacking downhill. Always looking to put pressure on the rim and set up teammates. Elite finishing package around the rim. Makes some crazy layups (like one step below Kyrie level). Great size and length for a PG at 6'6". Good, but not great athlete. Fluid mover, and has a little vertical pop. Gets tons of steals, and likely projects as a plus defender. Really the only negative is his shooting. He didn't have an outside shot throughout his college career, although it is encouraging that he shot nearly 40 percent on very low volume from 3 this year. Developing that jumpshot will be the key for him. If he gets to the point where he can be a reliable catch and shoot player off ball, and also hit a pullup 3 if teams go under screens, then he'll be a great player with a role as a secondary creator (maybe a 6th man type role). Until that development happens though, I think his lack of shooting hurts too much for him to see appreciable court time. The tools are there for him to be successful, but it will all be about how his shot develops.”
