Draft 2026
“He's undersized for an NBA PF at 6'7", and isn't a great athlete either. Below the rim guy. Moves decently laterally, but by no means has elite burst. Very unique playstyle. Has one of the best floaters that I've ever seen. A ton of his points were off floaters, and he was comfortable shooting it out to about 16 feet. Hartenstein-esque, and maybe even a bit better. Capable of knocking down the three as well, but to me the shot doesn't pass the eye test mechanically as one that would be a major plus attribute for him in the NBA. Because of the athletic limitations, he graded out as a negative defender, and the eye test supports that. Think he would be picked on by guards, wings, and big. Offensively, I don't see a role that he fills. Could be very dangerous with his floater in the short roll, but to me he doesn't have the size that you'd want out of a typical screener in the NBA. Would be much more intrigued if he was 6'10+, since he'd fit an archetype as a screen setter who can be effective in both the short roll and pick and pop. Don't see an obvious NBA role, and don't see him sticking in the league.”
