Draft 2026
“Very rare combination of lateral movement, size, and vertical explosiveness. Belongs in the NBA as a wing athletically. Should have no problems on defense. Was a good rebounder. Was also a great connective passer. 3:1 A/TO ratio. Team player. Would often drive with the intention of setting others up, and was very successful. Also seemed relatively comfortable handling the ball on the perimeter. The one major flaw in his game is his shooting. 49 percent from the FT line, and 7 percent from three. He was 3/21 outside of the paint this year. Provides zero floor spacing. His combo of strengths/weaknesses lead to a wide range of potential outcomes. He has high-end starter to All-Star level athletic gifts, and is willing to play his role...both of which give him big upside. However, it will be tough to play him if he can't shoot at all. Anywhere from out of the league in a couple of years to a plus starter seems plausible depending on how his shot develops. Is he end of career Ben Simmons or a rich man's Derrick Jones Jr?”
